Chuck Genseal who owns a small farm in the Dixieland district, is seeking to put a new face from Area 1 on the Madera School Board of Trustees ― his own.
Genseal said that in the past three years of his opponent’s term on the MUSD board, Ripperdan School has been closed, and Eastin-Arcola has been “downgraded” to a continuation school for 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
He said Dixieland School “came within a hair’s breath” of the same fate.
