At 5 p.m. Wednesday, the election rolls were finalized for a number of Madera County offices. Several prospective candidates who had filed their preliminary paperwork decided against a run.
Some incumbents will run unopposed in the race, including District 2 Supervisor David Rogers, school superintendent Cecilia Massetti, clerk-recorder Rebecca Martinez and treasurer-tax collector Tracy Kennedy Desmond.
Rogers expressed his gratitude for another term to serve.
