Madera’s biggest primary-care medical clinic, Camarena Health, broke ground Thursday for a new building in the city’s downtown.
Under the Affordable Care Act, Camarena Health was awarded $4.8 million for construction of a new facility. The ceremony, at 124 S. A St., was held on site of the new clinic, behind the Madera Redevelopment Agency.
Local dignitaries, staff, board members and community members were among those in attendance.
