The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has predicted higher than normal traffic volumes along State Route 41 in Madera County due to an upcoming event at Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time to their evening commute in anticipation of slow-moving traffic along State Route 41, according to a Caltrans news release.

“Please adhere to all posted signage at all times and be patient and considerate to other motorists. At no time shall motorists attempt to pass at locations not designated as a passing lane or cross over solid double yellow lines,” the release said.
