Butterfly sanctuary opened to public

The second season of operation for a local butterfly sanctuary launched with about 200 monarch butterflies fluttering in a greenhouse. More than 50 people visited Home Grown Cellars over the weekend to look at the species, which is native to California.

The Butterfly Sanctuary is set to be open for six weeks this fall.

Visiting days are only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
