More than 1,000 Valley residents gathered inside Madera’s Hatfield and Van Alen Halls on Thursday evening to network with dozens of local businesses as part of the Madera Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Business Extravaganza & Trade Show.
Though the night and its 55 booths were themed around business, government agencies, religious institutions, restaurants and even local band The Yard Dogs displayed the best they had to offer for interested parties.
Chamber president Debi Bray said that the annual event has brought light to Madera for more than 20 years.
“With all the social networking available today, this event acts as the perfect complement,” Bray said. “Businesses still need that crucial face-to-face time to connect with their customers.” ...
