Victoria Bodine from the Golden Oak 4-H club has been selected as the county record book winner in the dog care project. Victoria is 14 years old and in the 8th grade.

She is the daughter of Andrew and Jennifer Bodine of Coarsegold. Victoria is the oldest of three children and has a younger brother and sister. Victoria’s interests include dogs, singing, arts and crafts, and hanging out with her friends.

One of her favorite things to do is snuggle and spend time with her dogs. She joined 4-H four years ago because she wanted to try new things and expand her knowledge about things that she loves. She also wanted to become a more well-rounded person and overcome her fear of speaking in front of people.

Victoria entered her record book this year with no big expectations; she entered for the feed-back and experience so that she would be able to build a stronger book for next year’s competition. She was so excited to be selected county winner this year and now Victoria is hoping to win county again next year and then move on to the state level (she was too young for state competition this year)...
