Bark For Life to draw canines against cancer

Lions Town and Country Park will be filled with dogs of all breeds and many of the mixed variety Saturday morning for the 4th annual American Cancer Society’s Bark For Life.

Dog owners who wish to participate should bring their pets to the pavilion at the corner of Granada Drive and Industrial Avenue. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

All proceeds will benefit Madera’s Relay For Life, which raises funds for the American Cancer Society.

Opening ceremonies will take place at 9 a.m. with closing ceremonies at 11 a.m. According to event coordinator Lorraine Serrano, lots of games and fun are planned for dogs and their owners...
