Arrests in fraudulent credit card ring

Madera police have arrested two women and a man in connection with the manufacture and use of fraudulent credit cards, burglary and identity theft. Detectives suspect the ring was active in Madera for some time and are looking for local hotels, gas stations and other businesses thatmay have been ripped off by them, they said Wednesday.

The three are suspected of defrauding local businesses of thousands of dollars.

Justin Robinson, 31, Amy Jane Kezerian, 26, and Heidi Darlene, 31, all of Fresno were taken into custody Thursday after a brief stand off at a Madera hotel. They face charges of fraud, ID theft and burglary, among other charges, according to police. Any one recognizing the suspects is asked to contact Madera police detectives.

Clerks at the hotel became suspicious and alerted police when the credit cards used didn’t quitematch the information on file and didn’t have the typical working,magnetic strip on the back...
