Clovis Police allege he drove getaway car in Kohl’s burglary Patrick Foster Sr.
A Madera County Jail correctional officer is out on bail after being arrested for allegedly driving the getaway car in a Clovis Kohl’s burglary last week.
Patrick Foster Sr., 43, of Fresno, told Clovis Police officers that he was carjacked by three people in the Sierra Vista Mall parking lot on Jan. 2.
But detectives now allege that Foster, a correctional officer at the Madera County Jail for three years after leaving his job as a noontime assistant at Edison High School from March to October of 2010 in Fresno, was actually an accomplice.
He is charged with three felonies — commercial burglary, conspiracy to commit a crime, and filing a false crime report — and a misdemeanor of evading a peace officer...
