Children in an apartment complex hunted for dyed eggs Saturday during a party organized by a resident and staff.

The Easter egg hunt at Madera Apartments included a bounce house and barbecue for residents, organized by resident Shirley McClellan and Mario Soto, the maintenance supervisor.

More than 30 children ran around the lawn and scavenged in bushes for dozens of painted eggs and treats while adults looked on.
