Treasure Hunters, an antique and coin-buying company, hopes to find rare and unique items as it finishes up a show today in Madera.
“We’re always looking for high-end stuff that you would find in a museum or an art gallery,” said manager Vincent Latham, Sr. “If you’d find it at a swap meet or a garage sale that’s probably not what we’re looking for, but if it’s something so unique you don’t even know what it is, bring it by.”
Latham also specializes in coin, gold and silver purchasing.
“Please don’t clean your coins,” he advises. “It ruins the coins and lowers their value. Don’t clean them, not even with water. Let the professionals clean them...
