Motocross play day planned
More than 100 motorcycle and trike riders gathered at Madera Honda Suzuki to ride in the 21st annual Gumball Run to raise money for local needy families.
“We usually get about 100 participants every year,” said organizer Jeff Squires. “This year the Gumball Run went well, the weather was good, the food was great and the people were fantastic.”
The run Saturday was much like a traditional poker run. Different colored gumballs were assigned different card values, Squires explained.
Participants drew two gumballs at the start of the ride and drew three more throughout the course. At the end, those with the best — and worst — poker hands won prizes...
