A nonprofit organization that operates the local museum is having a membership drive and is set to elect new officers and board members next month.
The Madera County Historical Society will hold its annual meeting Feb. 4 at Harvest Community Church, 2001 National Ave., to elect officers and board members, give annual committee reports and review and approve the budget for 2013.
The annual meeting is set to begin with a social at 5:30 p.m., followed by a potluck dinner at 6 p.m. and discussion of the business agenda after.
