Air Force Airman 1st Class Taneia M. Benn graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
Benn is the daughter of Robert and Kamala Benn of Chowchilla. She is a 2007 graduate of Chowchilla High School and earned an associate degree in 2011 from Merced Junior College.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
