Six teens were arrested, accused of participating in a three-day crime spree throughout the city and county of Madera.
Madera County Sheriff’s deputies and Madera Police officers collaborated Wednesday to nab 19-year-old suspects Nicholas Javier Castrejon and Angel Barrios, along with two 17-year-olds, a 15-year-old, and a 14-year-old whose names are not being released.
Authorities believe the teens, with alleged gang ties, are connected to a rash of strong arm robberies, at least one shooting, and several carjackings, which began in the pre-dawn hours of Jan. 21.
