$550,000 grant to help those hit by foreclosure

The Office of the Attorney General and the State Bar of California has awarded a $550,000 grant to a nonprofit legal services program to help low-wage, limited-English, rural workers affected by foreclosure.

California Rural Legal Assistance (CRLA) serves Madera and six other counties in the southern San Joaquin Valley and the Central Coast.

Homeowners impacted by foreclosure can contact CRLA at (805) 922-4563.
