Agents seize drugs, weapons after year-long investigation

Four members of a violent gang in Fresno were arrested in Chowchilla on suspicion of cultivating marijuana for sale and possessing stolen weapons, Madera County Sheriff John Anderson announced Thursday.

The four Fresno men jailed on federal charges are Thorn Meas, 41, 20-year-old Sokhang Nguon, 19-year-old Mayo Murillo and 30-year-old Youn Yen.

The Tiny Rascals Gang (TRG) is considered one of the largest Asian street gangs in the U.S. and is often associated with drug trafficking and violence, according to the sheriff’s department.
