A man wanted in connection with a Chowchilla-area residential burglary has been taken into custody, according to Erica Stuart, spokeswoman for Sheriff John Anderson.

Earlier Wednesday night, Deputy Luis Padgett, working on a citizen’s tip, tracked down 18-year-old Pedro Sanchez Virgen to a home on Olive Way in Chowchilla, Stuart said.

He was arrested without incident and booked into Madera County Department of Corrections on burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy and drug charges.

His arrest follows the arrests of 22-year-old Latasha Matthews of Madera and 24-year-old Michael Adam Jimenez of Chowchilla last Friday...
