3 suspected of vandalizing home

Three Madera men were arrested after breaking into a home and vandalizing the inside, bashing windows and mirrors, tearing out cabinets and smashing holes in the walls, according to authorities.

Justin Parmelee, 19, 24-year-old Gregory Jaurequi and 22-year-old Alexander Guedea were arrested early Sunday when deputies received a call about a suspicious vehicle parked outside a vacant home on Paula Road, Madera County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart said.

The three men were at the home shortly after 6:30 a.m. when deputies arrived and one tried to flee before they were arrested.

According to Stuart, the suspects knew the home was vacant and one said he broke in to “blow off steam” after being fired from his job...
