25-year clerk assistant retires

Personnel changes in the offices of the Madera County Clerk has made the end of this year interesting and 2014 promises to be even more so.

A farewell reception will be held for Susan Conners from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday in the Blanche Galloway Room at the Madera County Library, 121 N. G St. Conners has worked for Madera County for 25 years and is ready for retirement.

“Susan has been a devoted public servant and we are going to miss her very much,” said Martinez.

Prior to moving to Madera, in June 1988, Conners and her husband Dennis lived in Salinas where she worked as a customer service representative for a telephone company. They relocated when Dennis hired on as a corporate pilot for Valley Grain Products...
