2 arrested for Fairmead shooting

Two men have been arrested for allegedly firing their weapons at a house party in Fairmead early on March 30 -- killing one man and wounding two others, authorities announced this weekend.

A five-day investigation led Madera County Sheriff’s detectives to Chowchilla, where they arrested Jose Pulido-Perez, 20, and Antonio Michael Ybarra, 23, both of Chowchilla, said Sheriff’s spokeswoman Erica Stuart.

Pulido-Perez is charged with murder with bail set at $1 million, according to jail records.

Ybarra is charged with being an accessory and for unlawfully possessing a loaded gun. His bail is also set at $1 million, according to jail records...
