A 17-year-old North Fork girl is charged with assault in a stabbing late Monday at a campsite off Beasore Road near Bass Lake, the Madera County Sheriff’s Department reported.
Her alleged victim, a 20- year-old North Fork woman, is in stable condition, said sheriff’s department spokeswoman Erica Stuart.
A 911 call sent sheriff’s deputies to McLeod Flat about 10:35 p.m. Monday. The caller said he was being chased.
