Thirteen students were honored for completing the Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) program at Madera Community College Center during the school’s ninth pinning ceremony.
Thirteen students were recognized Wednesday night for completing the 18-month program and will move on to work in hospitals and medical facilities.
“This is the ninth cohort of students to graduate from Madera Center since 2003; our students are well known in the community for excellence and hard work,” said Carol Fernandez, RN (Registered Nursing), BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing), and LVN coordinator at the Madera Center. “Students work at many different facilities to contribute to the nursing community. The goal of the LVN program at the Madera Center is to provide an education that will give the students what they need to succeed.”
