The Madera County Agriculture Boosters donated $10,000 to the Madera Unified School District for use by the Madera South Agriculture Department.

The donation, made at the March board meeting, funded the purchase of two new vehicles for the Agriculture Department to use to travel up and down California to attend leadership events and competitions.

In past years, Madera County Ag Boosters donations have helped build a new shade house, have established pastures and irrigation systems to help with student projects and have helped pay for students to attend leadership conferences.

Madera County Agricultural Boosters group was established to support students interested in agriculture in Madera County.
