Two Madera County residents have returned home from the “jubilation” of Barack Obama’s second presidential inauguration with memories they said will last a lifetime.
“I’m still trying to breathe,” said Gloria Brown, 61. “It was an incredible event that just took your breath away.”
Brown and Gwendolyn Stewart, 58, attended the inauguration after Rep. Jim Costa (D-Fresno) granted them tickets last year. The two paid for their own airfare and hotel.
