‘Cat-burg’ suspect in custody, police still searching for other

One of two people suspected of burglarizing several homes in Oakhurst and North Fork has been arrested.

Bobbi Jo Heiss, 25, of Oakhurst was taken into custody by deputies Neil Cuthbert, Joseph Widler, Josh Cushing and Sgt. Colleen Weisert, along with California Highway Patrol Officers, assisting Det. Larry Rich, off Highway 41 in Coarsegold at 1:23 Friday morning, according to Erica Stuart, spokeswoman for Sheriff John Anderson.

The other suspect, believed to be Heiss’ accomplice, is 45-year old Christopher Edwin Wrought, also of Oakhurst.

Coined the “cat-burg” couple, the pair, at one point, resided on Big Oak Flat Road in Oakhurst, Stuart said...
