Stallion Stormcast: Madera South gives thanks, gives back
Thursday, November 19, 2009
By For The Madera Tribune - Jacob Gonzalez
This week we at Madera South High School wanted to recognize our teachers, counselors, secretaries and other staff with Give Thanks Week.
Giving thanks is an important aspect of student life because we are able to let our teachers know we care about what they do for us.
For Give Thanks Week, we are also holding a Canned Food Drive to support local families in need. At MSHS, the first period class that donates the most cans will win a McDonald's breakfast and the runner up will receive a donut breakfast. Bring in those cans by today. The winners will be announced Friday morning.
Musical fun
Do you love music melodies? Then listen to the talented choir group perform tonight at the cafeteria. The Choir Concert starts tonight at 7 p.m. Come early to reserve seats.
