Stylist offers services for cancer patients

Thursday, July 02, 2009

By Ramona Frances

An eastern Madera County hair stylist gives her time to help cancer patients cope with the stress of chemotherapy and is offering her services to Madera and Chowchilla.

Donna Dozier of Tangles Salon, 40278 Stagecoach Road in Oakhurst, is inviting cancer patients to receive a complimentary consultation and haircut.

"Losing your hair is emotionally painful and a constant reminder of the battle you're enduring," Dozier said. "There are ways people can experience thinning and loss of hair that include a touch of love and style, while giving them a sense of personal dignity."

Dozier is also offering to trim and style wigs. "When you have hair loss from treatment, make an appointment with me for a haircut and wig trim at no charge."
