Madera High alum returns from internship, lands job
Just months after returning from a summer internship in Washington, D.C., Madera High graduate Mika Petrucci has been hired by the same organization that sponsored the internship.
As the program coordinator for The Maddy Institute at California State University, Fresno, Petrucci will oversee the student internship program — among other programs — that she went through.
Petrucci, an agriculture business student at Fresno State, spent eight weeks working for Congressman Dennis Cardoza (D-Fresno) giving capitol tours to constituents and attending ag-related briefings and hearings.
