Madera wrestler Miguel Martinez continued his run through the Central Section with a victory in the 106-pound championship match to earn a spot in this weekend’s Masters (Valley Championship) at East High in Bakersfield.
County/Metro Athletic Conference champion Martinez defeated Adrian Camposano of Central, 13-6, for the Yosemite Divisional 106- pound championship Saturday at Lemoore High School.
Six other Coyotes will join him at East High, led by Eric Mendoza, who pinned his opponent at 220 pounds for the Consolation Championship.
Lenny Pedraza lost in the Consolation Championship, 2-0, and settled for fourth place. Miguel Ruiz lost 2-1 in the fifth place match for sixth place...
