Coyotes sweep past Edison

Once the Madera Coyotes got rolling, there was no stopping in a 3-0 victory over the Edison-Fresno Tigers in Joe Flores Gym.

The victory Tuesday gave the Coyotes the lone 3-0 record in the County/Metro Athletic Conference.

“This was a great win,” head coach Robyn Keune said. “We want to win league.”

The Coyotes got contributions across the board. Brielle Hefner put down 21 kills, including 7 in a 26-24 first set victory. Miranda Brunner put down 3 kills in a 25-13 second set victory and Makinna Malady had 10 kills with 4 in a 25-23 third set victory...
