A 24-year-old man was killed in an early-morning, solo vehicle crash after he lost control on the Avenue 9 off-ramp, according to The California Highway Patrol.
Officer Mark Cosentino said Miguel Ramirez, Jr., of Fresno, was southbound on State Route 99 about 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning in his 2002 Dodge Ram pickup when he took the Avenue 9 off-ramp.
“From the tire tracks at the scene, it appears he went off the shoulder of the off ramp, over-corrected and spun and rolled the pickup truck. He was alone in the vehicle,” he said.
“Ramirez was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, and was ejected from the vehicle and killed,” Cosentino said...
