The need for section 8 in madera is great and the waiting list is even greater. I am a 50 year
old disabled person that has had to go without my medaction so I could have a place to live and buy some food most of my food I get from church donations but have had to go without meals on many days life shouldn't be this hard for me I worked all my life paid my taxes and into the syetem it's because of us tax payers people can get welfare, housing, food asst., I paid my due's so why can't I get the help I need, shouldn't people like myself come first on this section 8 list before those that have never paid into the syetem your choose not to work but are more then able why do so many want something for doing nothing just so unfair that my life has come down to this soon I will be homeless death for me can't be to much longer down the road if I can't get help with housing.
