There is a long list of people, through the ages, who have made a huge impact in the lives of others. Some of the names most people recognize, and there are some who have made an impact through their research and writings.
The list of people starts as far back as recorded notes and writings of what these people did and said during their lives. Some of the writings were in the Upanishads, (the sacred literature of Hindus) “man becomes that of which he thinks.” The writings of Buddha included “the mind is everything; what you think you become.” In the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius we read, “your life is what your thoughts make it.” Others with similar writings were, Confucius, Mohammad, Aristotle, Socrates, Plato and the list goes on through all years of recorded history.
The one most recognized today is from the Bible verse in Proverbs 23:7, which reads, “as a man thinketh in his heart so is he.” Most people today have heard that quote and most understand what it means, but there are scores who don’t...
