Ernest Holmes’ definition of the Kingdom in the Science of Mind Glossary is “The Kingdom of Heaven is not a place; it is ‘within’ in our deepest thought. The Kingdom of God is the consciousness of God. As we think the thoughts of God, we shall have a newer, diviner life in our body and our affairs. We shall have entered the Kingdom.”
The Kingdom of Heaven and the Kingdom of God is the reality of our recognition of the oneness with the Divine. In the Sermon on the Mount, chapter 6 in Matthew, Jesus was talking about the treasures of life. It is the food we get, the air we breathe, the cover or clothing we wear, the water we drink, and all things for survival are available to man just like the fowl of the air are cared for with what is needed for them to survive as well as all life on this planet.
The needs for all life in creation are made available by the Creative Intelligence of the Universe (God) and were put there before that life was created. It is the “wants” of man that gets man out of balance with mind, body and spirit...
