The science department welcomes four new teachers: Ms. Hagopian, Ms. Anderson, Mr. Cuevas, and Mr. Torres. The English and World Language department is excited to welcome Mr. Horder and Ms. Angulo. Ms. Avila is taking on algebra classes, while Ms. Stetsko and Ms. Sebastian both have home economics classes. Lastly, Ms. Brown, Ms. Murphy, Ms. Garcia, Ms. Minyard, and Ms. Schuman are all additions to the Special Education department.

We are very excited to have so many new teachers that can now call Madera High School home!

The freshman class elections will take place next week, Aug. 27. The freshman class president will be enrolled into the Associated Student Body class, which takes place fourth period, and therefore needs to keep his or her schedule in mind when running.
