Still time for some burgers

Okay, fall is in the air and the holiday decor is already out in the stores. But there’s still time for a burger bash, whether you fire up the grill for ground meat or you broil or bake some veggie burgers.

I love to take a bite of a tasty burger, followed up with a few crunchy potato chips. I also love homemade macaroni or potato salad to go along with the main course.

As I write this column, I have not eaten anything except for two fresh figs, thanks to my sister’s generous sharing of her own crops. So, I am pretty hungry and am ready to get that grill fired up as soon as I am finished here!

Come on, I know you’re hungry, too. Let’s head for the kitchen! ...
