Our Challenge Day follow up, held Tuesday, invited back students who had participated in our February event. Among the hectic games and meeting of new people, Stallions pledged to create change and make a difference in their lives and Madera South High School. Pledges will be posted around school to inspire others to consider making a difference themselves.

Black light rally

Get ready for the lights to turn off this Friday. MSHS will be having our most talked-about rally of the year. Yes, the black light rally. This year’s theme will incorporate thrills, chills, and screams. Posters and décor have been in full swing all week in the activities room. During the rally, there will be games, performances, activities honoring the spring sports athletes, and special recognition for the I.R.O.N. class athletes of 2011-2012 school year all in the dark!

Preparing for extravaganza

This Saturday at Lions Town and Country Park, Leadership and FBLA will start off their spring break by volunteering in the Egg Extravaganza held by the John Wells Youth Center. The event starts at 8 a.m. and runs until noon. There will be more than 10,000 eggs distributed around the park for the large egg hunt.

There also will be bounce houses, face painting, and many other activities for children to enjoy. So come one, come all, and enjoy this great event. Participate! Hunt! Have fun at the great Egg Extravaganza...
