This Tuesday was a fabulous day for the Stallions to give back to those in need with the sale of Kid’s Day papers. Many students woke up super duper early in order to get out into the community to motivate others to purchase the newspapers. We hope that many lives can be saved and that many children smile and continue to grow.

A huge thank you to our advisors who woke up before 5am to help with Kid’s Day: Brent George (FFA), Mary Pietrowski (HOSA), Hermela Moultrie (Opportunity), Jon Schmid (Band) and Valerie Cantu (AVID). Because of teachers like you our students have the chance to do something fun, memorable and more importantly raise funds for an important cause. We also had a parent volunteer, Susan Randall, who went out after our Stallions did and sold over 40 more papers!

I am pleased to announce that our teachers and club members (FFA, HOSA, Leadership, Freshmen Class, Band, Opportunity and AVID) raised $1,598.56 to benefit Children’s Hospital Central California. Thanks again for everyone’s effort and dedication.

Dodgeball tournament

Yay! Boom! Bam! Dodgeball is back at Madera South and many students have set up their own teams in order to become this year’s champions. Many students are excited, pumped up, and anxious to watch, dodge, throw, and win...
