With today beginning the month of March, us Stallions are feeling pretty lucky. Our athletics and academic success have grown and we hope if we continue to work hard and eat our Lucky Charms, we will continue our good fortune.

This week students were awarded T-shirts, academic cards, whistles, tattoos, erasers, buttons, food and even a chance to collect a prize from the treasure chest. With more than 800 students receiving items, Stallions are feeling the luck of the leprechaun.

Our band boosters hosted the Winter Formal on Saturday and kids danced their hearts out until midnight. It clearly set the bar for Prom in May.

Next week marks our yearly community service event, Kids Day. Many Madera South High students will gleam in neon aprons and jump up and down for a good cause. For only $1, you can receive Tuesday’s Fresno Bee and 100 percent of the profits go to our local Children’s Hospital...
