Stallions celebrate meaning of holidays

Madera South High has come together in the spirit of the holidays to spread some cheer in the community. Their annual canned food drive was a huge success with an estimated total of over 2,600 cans.

Staff and students came together and reached out to support the community. Thank you to everyone who donated and helped provide food for the less fortunate. All cans will go to the Madera County Food Bank.

The Stallions were declared the winner of the canned food drive competition against Madera High. As our school motto is building students with C.L.A.S.S. (character, leadership, academic, sportsmanship, service), we never want to slander our opponents in any competition. The Stallions are happy to have collaborated with the Coyotes to help families in need.

Madera South High students also showed off their artistic skills by participating in the annual door decorating contest. Mrs. Sims’ first-period chemistry class won with its display of a holiday periodic table...
