So disappointed in Congress

It appears the federal government is going back to work, at least for a little while anyway. The government will be funded until Jan. 15 and raise the debt ceiling until Feb. 7.

Congress is off the hook until after the holidays so they can go back to their nice comfortable lives. Meanwhile too many of the people they are supposed to represent are working two and three low-paying jobs, if they can find work at all.

I can’t help but wonder how many of these congress members will pose for photos distributing food and clothing to the less fortunate during Thanksgiving and Christmas. They hope that will make them look good to their constituents.

I have heard it said there are no dirty games only dirty players. When it comes to politics, both the games and the players are both rotten. These are men and women that should be held in high esteem and yet their inability to run this country efficiently continues to destroy whatever faith the voters have in them...
