As a couponer, I’ve always purchased pre-packaged deli meats, cheeses and breads that I’ve had coupons for and/or that were on sale.
Assuming it would cost more for one-on-one service, my shopping cart and I sped right past the fresh service deli, meat counter, and bakery at any grocery store.
I must confess I was wrong in my assumption — in some cases.
Now, I know some people are regular visitors to the service deli because they are particular about how thickly their meats and cheeses are cut. Others swear by the bakery for the freshest loaves of bread and some prefer the butcher block for the chance to pick their favorite cut of meat...
