Here we go again with an even more meager effort from this scribe. / With pitiful rhyme and worse pentameter even critics can’t describe. / Space allows only a few but rest assured I value all of you. / Even cats and birds and those who wrap fish with this too.

To all of you, thanks for your concern, flowers, prayers, and cards / They are so appreciated, and with so many it would take yards. / A toast to the Svandas, pal Gary and thoughtful Theresa, my new sister. / Visited nearly every day my gal, and when not, we truly missed her.

My gal sends hugs in return for the many from pal, Bob, that’s Kahn. / I would read his well-wishing emails to her, sometimes before dawn. / Cell phone batteries to constant caller John, that would be dentist Bryan / Checking on my gal every day in the hospital, on me he’d be relyin’

To my merry morning maidens, Kara, Yuli, Alyssa and two Kims. / With your smiles and great service my breakfast never dims. / I’m thankful for Friday morning laughs with Massetti, King and Bliss. / That’s Jim, Steve and John, at least to start the day is not a miss...
