Registration is continuing for the Summer Kid’s Camp programs. The first of nine, one-week sessions begins Monday, June 11. Activities will include recreation, arts and crafts, field trips, and more. Cost is $60 for the first child, $55 for the second and $50 for each additional. Junior counselors in grades 7-9 are $50. Register at the John W. Wells Youth Center, Mon-Fri from 8-5. The pool is now open for public swim Mon-Sat afternoons. There are a few weekend dates still available to rent the entire pool complex for a family party, birthday, church or social event. Lifeguards are on duty and a barbecue area and picnic tables are available with the rental. Call the Parks office to reserve your swim party.

T-Ball resumed play this Saturday at Lions Town and Country Park. Games begin at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. The photos have been returned from picture day and staff distributed the team and individual photos to the coaches so they may give them to the parents. If parents have any questions they should call Sportspoint Photography at 276-8339.

Summer Softball registration continues. Team packets with all the information about the leagues are available at the Parks Office at 701 E. Fifth Street. The department had a record number of teams for the Spring Leagues so teams are encouraged to get their entry in as soon as possible. Deadline is June 22 with league play beginning after the July 4 holiday. Team entry is $393 for Recreation Leagues and $353 for Coed League...
