Time and space are running out to register your team for the adult spring recreation and coed softball leagues. Team entry fee is $393 for recreation and $353 for coed league. Call the Parks Office at 661-5495 for more information. There will be a manager’s meeting 6 p.m. Thursday at the Frank Bergon Center, 238 S. D St.

Coaches are still needed for the parks department’s popular T-Ball program. If you would like to teach kids ages 4-8 the basics of baseball, teamwork and sportsmanship, call or stop by the office at 701 E. 5th St. or call Leon at 661-5478.

The parks department is taking lifeguard applications for the summer swim season. Details and applications are available at the Youth Center, 701 E. 5th St.

Saturday saw hundreds of kids participate in the annual Spring Fling Eggstravaganza at Lions Town and Country Park. The department wishes to thank all the volunteers who helped to make this another successful event.
