It’s October, my favorite month! And it goes along with one of my other favorites, which is just about anything made with pumpkins. (Actually, I love pumpkin decor and art, too. I have a collection of pumpkins made of glass, ceramic, wood, plastic, metal, whatever.)
I was especially pleased to have discovered a very good recipe for pumpkin bread, or rather another very good recipe, as I do have several already. No matter what time of year, I think a moist, flavorful slice (or two) of pumpkin bread is always a welcome and satisfying treat.
Good thing we can buy the pumpkin puree in cans. Some people prefer to make their own from fresh pumpkins, but those are not always available.
