Spring break was much needed to spend time with family and friends and relax from the hectic schedule of being a high school student. Only 30 school days remain in the school year and seniors are treasuring their last few weeks while stressing about paying for prom, passing finals and everything else.

Prom tickets went on sale on yesterday for $70 for a couple and $40 for single. The last day to purchase a ticket is Thursday, May 1. Students must have a current ID, not owe any fines and cannot be on the LOP list, which means five unexcused absences is a go, but six is a no.

Prom will be May 3 at the Grand 1404 from 7 to 11 p.m. This year’s theme is Gatsby Gala with a beautiful view of downtown Fresno from the surrounding balconies.
