At the Howard 4-H Club’s monthly meeting Nov. 4, Christmas Stars were handed out to each member, who will then get items for the Norman Gould School Giving Tree. The Gifts for the Christmas Star Program will be brought to the December meeting.

All of Howard 4-H went to work after the business meeting decorating place mats for a Madera rehabilitation center. From presents to Christmas trees to candy canes, Howard 4-Hers came up with lots of creative ideas for the place mats.

The next meeting will be Dec. 2 at the Madera County Historical Museum.
